White oak veneer is a thin slice of real wood that is pressed onto

is also relatively easy to work with, stains and finishes well, and
has a Janka hardness of 1,350 lbf.
White oak quarter cut veneer, also known as tiger flake white oak
veneer or quarter sawn heavy flake white oak veneer, is a type of
wood veneer that's made by cutting a log into quarters and then
slicing each quarter at right angles to the growth rings. The
medullary ray is sliced during the quarter cutting process, which
creates a flake or fleck. The veneer is often a light tan-brown to
creamy beige wheat color, and it can have a straight grain and
coarse texture.
Quarter cut white oak veneer is often considered a high-grade
veneer and can have very few defects. It's often stained and
accepts finishes well, which can make the flake more visible and
make it appear lighter than the rest of the grain. The veneer can
also have different patterns, such as stripes that are at right
angles to the grain, curved patterns, or a flaky effect.
Quarter cut white oak veneer is commonly used for architectural

veneer, you can peel the backing off and use a hair dryer to heat

veneer to is smooth, non-porous, and free of dust and particles.
