Santos Rosewood is primarily found in Brazil. It is commonly known
as Honduran Rosewood, Pao Rosa, Bolivian, Caviuna, Jacaranda pardo,
pau ferro, jacaranda amarello and caroba.
Santos Rosewood is sourced from South America and was originally
brought onto the market as a substitute for the rarer Rio Rosewood.
Santos rosewood is yellowish-pink with irregular red streaks,
delicate porous texture and produces a very decorative veneer. The
grain of Santos Rosewood veneer is typically straight, although it
may be interlocked.
Santos rosewood veneer is often used for luxury articles, for
